Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ChaseGood you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create a campaign or make a donation.
3. Accounts & Campaigns
Athletes are responsible for the accuracy of their campaign content, including race details, charity selection, and personal story. Misrepresentation may result in removal.
4. Donations & Platform Fee
Donations are routed to the athlete's chosen verified 501(c)(3). A 5.5% platform fee, plus payment-processor fees where applicable, is added on top of the donation and paid by the donor. Optional tips to ChaseGood are not tax-deductible.
5. Refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable once disbursed to the nonprofit. We will consider refund requests for clear errors or canceled campaigns within 14 days.
6. Music & Third-Party Services
Sponsored songs are added to the athlete's personal Spotify or Apple Music playlist. ChaseGood does not host, license, or stream music. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
7. User Content & Conduct
You retain ownership of dedications, messages, and media you submit. You grant ChaseGood a non-exclusive license to display that content on campaign pages and race-day views. No hateful, illegal, or harassing content.
8. Intellectual Property
ChaseGood, its logo, and platform design are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the platform without written permission.
9. Disclaimers
ChaseGood is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee donation tax-deductibility, race outcomes, or playlist playback.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChaseGood is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [TBD], without regard to conflicts-of-law principles.
